Volunteer Organizations at St. John's

In its efforts to be a good neighbor and a facilitator to many worthwhile programs and causes St. John’s makes its facilities available when possible.

To this end the following groups or organizations have been provided space in which they can conduct their ministries and/or programs:

Chrisitian Literacy Council

Since 1975, St. John’s has provided office and other space to Dr. William and Linda Kofmehl for their work. A number of members of the congregation participate as volunteers in a number of different aspects of the council’s ministry.

Alcoholic Anonymous

Space is provided for the weekly meetings of the AA’s and All-a-nons. The congregation has had a long relationship with this important ministry.

Boy Scouts

St. John’s sponsors Pack 279 which meets monthly. In addition to its sponsorship of the above pack it also opens its facilities to a number of adult scout leadership training events that take place periodically throughout the year.
